-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- April 28, 2005 Dave's original 9/11 VHS, 68 min Converted* to DivX, 352x240, 733 MB 9-11_video_off-air_VHStoDivXviaConvertX_911blimp_68min.avi MD5 checksum: 81785d748f4c41b6aa20d363822503eb CRCs: .md5=D42FFF38, .avi=6EB66F19 MD5 at http://911blimp.net/9-11_video_off-air.md5 Flash frame ~ 53:50 Sorry, but I've never really made 1 good catalog of all the gems on my tape. (Actually, there's another VHS tape buried deeply somewhere with video from 9/12 that I've never really gone through, but this is my recording from 9/11 -- some noon-ish, some 7pm-ish, and then some late evening until the tape ran out.) I still don't have a video machine that can handle long videos, but I decided it would be a good thing to get this out any way I could, so I did a quick and dirty on-the-fly hardware compression* of the VHS tape. It's not as good as a multi-pass compression, but it's still a usefully good way to share my VHS tape with others. My guess is that there are some things here that practically no one else has seen. (Not to mention some gems I haven't recognized.) Given how sharp- eyed some of you are, there's no telling how many gems it may contain. But this is probably a better use of one's time than some of the other diversions that have been making the rounds of 9/11 discussion lists 2Q05. This video will definitely take you back... Please share it. (It'll fit on a CD, with a DivX player, if you compress [ie, ZIP] it.) It seems to me as though stuff was being blocked but some stuff was still slipping past the network censors. While I sometimes just let it record for 10 minutes at a time, at other times I also was busy watching one channel while recording another, so that some of the fortuitous channel-changes were not pure luck. The operative point is that this gets to the heart of why I believe this airing of the Naudet video to be [among] the first: I happened to be watching (but not recording) Univision when they first tried to air the Naudet video, and it didn't work! The frame rate was wrong or something, and it was jerky and frames got skipped and then it froze, on live TV! Still, it was enough for me to have recognized that this was a shot that no one else (CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, Univision, Telemundo, another 2-3 UHFs of no real/independent consequence) had ever shown. So when they got it to run properly(?) about 2 minutes later, I was not caught totally off-guard. As you'll see, the flash frame was impressive, and practically impossible to miss. As you'll notice, the Naudet video first aired on Univision sometime after 10:38 pm MDT on 9/11. (Note that all the times superimposed on the screen by the local network affiliates are Mountain Time.) Having seen everything on this tape on 9/11, I went to bed that night knowing that "19 guys with boxcutters" could not account for all the news/dis/info I had seen and heard that day. (So people who suggest that 9/11 truthers should not pursue and present visual video evidence of the events of the day can kiss my coax.) You'll recognize this video as the source of most of the web-ready video clips you can see and download at www.911blimp.net Regards, and best wishes for a Constitutional tomorrow, - -- - - Dave http://911blimp.net/aud_BushImplicatesBush.shtml "First of all, when we walked into the classroom, I had seen this plane fly into the first building.
